About Us
In 2005, Spoil the Dog Bakery was officially founded by Rachelle Latour after years of creating wheat-free, limited-ingredient dog treats. It started with her first treat recipe, Peanut Butter Crunch, with chickpea flour as the protein instead of meat as a solution for her own boy Mocha who was itching at his paws. He loved these treats and so did the neighbourhood dogs. Sales grew organically from her neighbourhood to the Guelph Farmers Market, to other pet stores across Ontario and a physical store front in St. Jacobs.
In 2025, we are continuing Rachelle’s vision of providing all natural treats that not only spoil your dogs but benefit their gut health and overall wellbeing. Our own boys Jasper and Buster have benefited from these treats for years and love being the quality control team.
All baked treats have a 1-year shelf life, and we always list ingredients for health-conscious pet parents. Thank you to everyone for your continued support over 20 years!
