About Us
Founded in 2005, Spoil the Dog Bakery was born out of love for the family dog, Mocha, and a desire to soothe his itchy paws. Our first recipe, Peanut Butter Crunch, was created using chickpea flour as the protein instead of meat. Mocha loved these treats and so did the neighbourhood dogs. Sales grew organically from the neighbourhood to the Guelph Farmers Market, to other pet stores across Ontario and a physical store front in St. Jacobs.
In 2026, we are continuing Spoil the Dog's vision of providing all natural treats that not only spoil your dogs, they benefit their gut health and overall wellbeing. All baked treats are meat, corn and wheat free. Our own boys Jasper and Buster have benefited from these treats for years and love being the quality control team.
All baked treats have a 1-year shelf life, and we always list ingredients for health-conscious pet parents. Thank you to everyone for your continued support over 20 years!
